Tobacco Farming Research
Some policy makers worry the impact of implementation of Tobacco Control Law will alter the living standard of tobacco farmer. Therefore, this research aims to seek evidences whether the above concern counts or not. This research covered many fields of study to bring accurate findings. Those branches of study include the practice, benefits, and cost of tobacco farming in relation with other crop farming; influences of tobacco farming on environment, using wood to dry tobacco leaves in particular; and the effects on health caused by both use of pesticides and direct contact with tobacco – Green Tobacco Sickness.
